The Level 1 missions are the first level of training for Microsoft Excel 2007.  The training provided in this level outlines the necessary skills to easily produce Excel spreadsheets and charts.

In this mission we will explore the Title Bar and the various command buttons found on the Title Bar.

In this mission we will explore the Office Button and menu. The Office button provides access to all the commands related to files.

E7L1M03: Quick Access TB

In this mission we will discover the Quick Access Toolbar and the commands it makes available.

E7L1M04: The Ribbon

In this mission we will examine the Ribbon, which is the command centre for Excel 2007. The commands on the Ribbon are grouped and categorised by different tabs.

E7L1M05: Minimise Ribbon

In this mission we will explore the techniques to minimise the Ribbon. This can be useful when working on worksheets with a large amount of data. It can also be useful if you wish to change the screen to look similar to that of Excel 2003.

E7L1M06: KeyTip Badges

In most cases the commands on the Ribbon are accessed using the mouse. However the KeyTip Badges enable the Ribbon commands to be accessed using the keyboard. In this mission we will investigate the use of the KeyTip Badges.

E7L1M07: Short Cut Menus

In this mission we will explore the different short cut menus available in Excel 2007.

E7L1M08: Dialog Boxes

In this mission we will explore dialog boxes and how they are launched from within Excel 2007.

E7L1M09: Status Bar

In this mission we explore the Status Bar and the information it displays. This information is very useful when creating and editing workbooks.

E7L1M10: Exiting Excel

In this mission we will investigate the different methods for exciting Excel 2007. By using one of these methods will ensure that no data is lost from your worksheets.
