Hi, Bronwyn here. I am the Founder and Managing Director (or if you prefer CEO) of Seybienne (pronounced se bi æn). I have worked in the Information Technology industry for over 25 years and over my career, I have earned the following qualifications:
- Bachelor Business – Computing (QUT)
- Juris Doctor (Bond University)
- Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (College of Law).
- Microsoft Office Certified Application Specialist
- Infusionsoft Certified Partner
But even with all those qualifications, nothing prepares you for the education you receive from being an entrepreneur and running your own consulting business.
It was back in 2005, that I first became fascinated with the idea that a membership program could serve more people and create enormous time and financial freedom for service-based consultants. At the time, especially in Australia, I felt my idea was ahead of the market and the available technology. But it became a passion that I pursued relentlessly. I wanted to know how it worked and why some people had unbelievable success, while others struggled.
I started my first membership program in 2009, and I learnt very quickly that the line “If you build it, he(they) will come” only applied to Kevin Costner’s baseball film, Field of Dreams. It did not apply to building and growing a successful and profitable membership program.
I had seen membership programs work for many successful entrepreneurs, but when I started I struggled. It was hard because I was trying to apply the same principles of corporate IT consulting to building my membership program. Believe me, the two are very different!
Ultimately, I learned that it wasn’t just the tech or the quality content that determined the success or otherwise of the program – it was so much more! Instead, I had to break through my own limiting beliefs, learn a new set of skills, sort out the tech that worked and the tech that didn’t, and stretch myself beyond my self imposed limits. Only then did I see the results that I truely wanted.
At that point, I made a promise to myself that if I learned how to do it, I’d teach others. I have studied and tested what works and what doesn’t. I have discovered which apps streamline the process and make things easier; the best ways to systematically grow your membership; the secrets to retaining members; and many more valuable insights that I can share with you.
All of which can help you to own the membership program that you want; one that exceeds your expectations. A membership program that gives you the time and financial freedom you desire, all while helping you reach and serve more people in your niche than you ever could consulting one-to-one.

You may be wondering – where does the name Seybienne come from?
It is the name of the central character, a female assassin, in a novel that I am writing (in my spare time). It is also a play on the French phrase très bien, or ‘very good’.
